The inside of the water cooler is automatically injected with unstable oxygen to eliminate bacterial biofilm that forms in normal water coolers.

The product is not self cleaning. The lights do not have a switch to turn them on or off. This means the lights stay on 24/7 using more power. the bottom cooler only holds three bottles of wine and does not include other shelving for pop cans etc. I would not recommend this product until some upgrades are made to the unit, like a light switch to turn on/off the lights and additional shelving for cans to be stored.

As far as shipping, it had to be one of the best packaged products I've received. Double-boxed and well padded.
One thing that caught my attention during setup was the instructions for disinfecting the cooler & recommendations to repeat every 3 months. WTF?? I liked this unit because it said it was self cleaning! I think the water cooler function is awesome. Frigid H2O every time. I think the second glass out is typically colder than the first. The fridge in the bottom, I'm a bit disappointed in. I took an already frosty cold 12 pack of Reds out of the kitchen fridge & put in the bottom (did fit nicely). The next day I checked & they barely feel cool. Temp is set fro 39 deg F, the coldest it'll let me set it to. I need to get a thermometer and check the temp before I complain about that. I bought a service plan with it, so if the temp's not up to snuff, we'll see how that works out. I'll post more when I get better info. I was willing to spend the nearly $400 price of this because I wanted the water cooler & fridge function but had limited space in my hobby room. If I can't keep a few brews cold, it kinda weakens the value of the appliance.
After a few days the fridge at the bottom is definitely @ room temp. Have a call in to VIVA & they said a tech would call back. We'll see how that works out & post some more.
